I met my goal! But we're not done...

I care deeply about Chicago Fair Trade because I know that my mom would do anything to give my sister and me the best lives possible. She would do anything, even if it meant sacrificing her safety, security, and basic human rights for the possibility of an income -- something no one should be forced to do, yet many are. Most of them are women and children. Most do not have a choice.
My sister and I are fortunate enough to be to be fed, clothed, and educated. Not everyone is, and many may never have these basic rights. I'm not okay with that.
I've donated $100 to Chicago Fair Trade because I know how far my mom would go to provide for my sister and me.
I've donated to Chicago Fair Trade because no woman should feel like she doesn't have a say in her safety, security, or basic human rights.
