READING IS FUNDAMENTAL IN CHICAGO's Photo

THE STORY:

Reading Is Fundamental/Chicago Kids Read is the ONLY Chicago Literacy not for profit for children which impacts children through building home libraries with books the child CHOOSES. Children reached by us attend three book fairs each year and choose books to keep. When a child chooses a book, their desire to read is dramatically increased and this desire directly impacts their success in school. RIF/Chicago Kids Read reaches 45,000 children three times a year every year increading each child's passion for reading and success in school. Now that is a gift that lasts a lifetime!

I very rarely contribute to these, there are so many of them in San Francisco. But if my Brother is going to run, how can I not contribute to this very worthy cause? 3 years ago
