BENEFITING: ILLINOIS TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION

The Illinois Technology Foundation in partnership with the Chicago Public Schools CTE Program created an annual information technology competition for CPS student enrolled in the CPS CTE Information Technology Program.
The students, with their faculty’s guidance, will provide a practical and innovative solution to an information technology challenge. The students may choose one of four areas or Strands: Database/Cloud, Networking/Security, Web Development, and Gaming.
The students whose Capstone Information Technology project is nominated by their schools will prepare a project presentation to a panel of judges selected by the Illinois Technology Foundation and CTE Information Technology.
The top three student Capstone project winners will receive a recognition medal and a small scholarship. All students participating will receive a recognition medal.
The winners (students and faculty) of the competition will win a combined cash scholarship of over $20,000.

Sponsorship Opportunities - we have 30 sponsorship opportunities at $1,000 per organization. Sponsorship include the opportunity to participate as a judge.
Faculty Coach - volunteer as a Faculty Coach. If you have skills in one of the technology strands listed above, we would like you to volunteer as a coach to the faculty and student team.
