Everyone is in the spirit of giving around Christmas time, but what about Valentines day? We all know Chick-fil-a is a breakfast favorite and those chicken biscuits make waking up easier, but for the month of February I challenge you to save the money you would spend on Chick-fil-a and donate it to The Foundation for Tomorrow. The Foundation for Tomorrow is an organization devoted to sending orphaned kids in Tanzania to secondary school at the Usa River Academy. The TFFT club at MPHS sponsors Richard Francis, who you can see in the picture. TFFT believes that through education, you can empower a developing nation. We are all blessed with a free and quality education, so help those who aren't. Through our sponsorship of Richard I've been able to see firsthand how education at a boarding school such as this one can truly better a child's life. Visit www.thefoundationfortomorrow.org to learn more about the organization and http://tfftafrica.wordpress.com/ to access their blog. The goal is to spread awareness to as many people as you can. Send these links to your friends, "like" The Foundation for Tomorrow on Facebook...spread the word! The person who directs the most people to this fundraising page will receive a $15 Chick-fil-a giftcard to make up for all those chicken nuggets they missed! In addition, the person who donates the most money to this cause will also receive a $15 gift card. Don't forget to spread the word and donate!
Another project TFFT is doing is making Valentines for the students at the Usa River School. Contact me if you would like to participate and we can match you with a student!
Lastly, if anyone is interested in ordering a t-shirt that the MPHS TFFT club created, please let me know! Shirts are $15 and all funds go to TFFT as well! You can see the sample of our t-shirts in the pictures.
