BENEFITING: Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County
Tommy and I are so excited to welcome Baby Gore into the world in early October (fingers crossed!). I am immensely grateful to have good health and access to quality care, but not everyone in our tight-knit community is as fortunate. Healthcare Foundation of Northern Sonoma County works tirelessly to help close gaps in funding to those who provide crucial health services, so we can all look forward to being well, as we all deserve to be. I have been a volunteer with the foundation for years, and have served on the board of directors for the past two years. This year, I am very excited that the foundation is starting a new fund to focus on providing grants to improve health for early childhood development (0-3 years old). There is a significant gap in our community in early childhood development and health, which we are working hard to address by starting to fund effective services.
Baby Gore is surrounded by so much love, and we want to share that love with others who may be less fortunate. As an alternative to a shower gift, please consider donating to the Child Development Fund in honor of Baby Gore to help all his future friends be as healthy as they can be.
Thanks so much for taking a moment to read this.
The Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization established in May 2001 to raise funds in support of quality healthcare services for all residents of the Northern Sonoma County Health District—essentially all who live, work, or play in the communities of Windsor, Healdsburg, Geyserville, Cloverdale, and north to the Mendocino County line.
