Team Children’s Aid Marathon Mingle Happy Hour
Come join us for a fun evening of post-work festivities with friends and colleagues, learn a bit about The Children’s Aid Society’s Associates Council, and support Team Children’s Aid, the organization’s first TCS NYC Marathon team as it works to raise $25,000 and cross the finish line on Sunday, November 6th!
Our Marathon Mingle, on Thursday, October 27th, will be hosted at Atwood, 986 2nd Avenue in Manhattan. A $20 donation at the door will give our guests access to a 1-hour open wine and beer bar from 6:30-7:30pm, and entrance into a raffle to win a $100 Open Table gift card! We’ll have good people, great drinks, and raffles prizes you won’t want to miss out on, all while learning about and supporting a great cause.
About The Children’s Aid Society’s Associates Council
The Associates Council is one of the philanthropic arms of The Children’s Aid Society, comprised of young professionals representing a range of talents and industries. Founded in 1853, Children’s Aid helps children living in poverty across some of New York City’s most under-resourced communities to succeed and thrive. The Associates Council raises awareness for the organization’s many initiatives by volunteering and hosting events, including the Team Children’s Aid Marathon Mingle!
About Team Children’s Aid
In 2016, Children’s Aid is starting a new tradition, partnering with the TCS New York City Marathon to further support the health and well-being of New Yorkers. As a Charity Partner, Team Children’s Aid has philanthropic runners who will race the 26.2-mile marathon through New York City’s five boroughs on Sunday, November 6th. Our runners are training hard and raising funds to benefit CAS because they believe that the families and children of New York City deserve every opportunity to succeed and thrive. The team has committed to raising $25,000, and looks forward to reaching both their race day and fundraising goals!
