BENEFITING: Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation
ORGANIZER: Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation
As my friends and family you are guaranteed to know the most important (and best) thing about me-I am from Pittsburgh! I may not live there anymore, but black and gold truly run through my veins. This May I'll be running in the Pittsburgh half-marathon, and I'll be supporting the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.
As someone who has struggled to overcome my own health problems, I know the most important thing is that we take care of our children during their times of need. For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of visiting Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, you'll never understand the level of compassion and care the staff is able to provide to each patient, regardless of their disease.
Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is consistently ranked in the top 10 children's hospitals leading the way in research and care. The money donated to the hospital enables the top doctors and scientists to innovatively and compassionately care for children from around the country as they all come to seek the same thing-long, healthy lives. There is nothing braver than a fighting child, and this is one thing we can do to help. I am honored to be running for these children.
Please consider sponsoring me towards my goal of $750 for this exceptional cause.
God bless & thanks--Ashley
