Chitral and Kalasha is a beautiful valley in North-Western part of Pakistan, that is sounded by tall mountains peaking over 20,000 feet. Recent floods and today a massive earthquake has destroyed several villages and the livelihood. The valley is far out of reach and relief efforts are slow and difficult because of the terrain and weather. JRM Foundation for Humanity has partnered with IDSP - Pakistan, Institute for Development Studies and Practices and ELAJ Foundation a local NGO under guidance of Dr Quratul Ain Bakhteari and Dr Talha Rehman and initiated the relief efforts. UPDATE: The temperature is dropping. The snow has started to fall. And still 500 families are without homes, at 10,000 feet. Warm weatherproof tents, heaers and blankets. This is what we have pledged for all these families. Every $500 helps one family of 10. Please help in any way you can. Our ground team is assessing the situation as you read this. And we will be on the ground on NOvember 14th. Help us to provide the bare minimum that any civilization on earth deserves.
