BENEFITING: Brigham and Women's Hospital
Choriocarcinoma is the aggressive, fast growing and aggressive pregnancy cancer of the placentia from a molar pregnancy (gestational trophoblastic neoplasia disease). It spreads from the uterus to the lungs, liver, and the brain. Mothers and babies/fetuses are lost from this disease. Survivors need chemo, surgery, and sometimes face fetus loss. Even with regular prenatal care, this disease can still be missed. Continous and further research and awareness is needed. Gestational trophoblastic neoplasia disease is so complex, making research even more crucial.
All funds donated go directly to Dr. Goldstein's exclusive choriocarcinoma research and treatment at Brigham's & Women's Hospital in MA. Together and with your help, we can help save the lives of mothers and babies.
