Chris' Loss of a hand
Organized by: Chris Conner
Hello, I'm Christopher. I've done everything I can to make ends meat and pay my medical bills. Unfortunately back in 2012 I had an incident while working. I severed my tendons in my left wrist. I fell into a man hole and was in two knee immobilizers, an ankle bracelet and a wrist brace. The doctors my work sent me to told me my wrist was fine. They did a few X-rays and sent me on my way. In the 4 year gap, I have seen multiple doctors and specialists for my wrist. And I have spoken to lawyers trying to seek help. But no one cared, until I met the doctor who did surgery on my wrist to try and save it. That's was after a MRI of my wrist. Showing that I had no ligaments. No tendons. Nothing was connected. He was astonished on how I wasn't in constant pain. I went to this doctor in 2015. The surgery he did was a 50/50 chance that my wrist would become fixed. Unfortuantely he failed. All he could do was clean out the joints. And send me to physical therapy for several months. About 9 months after the surgery I am still unable to lift any weight with it so you can understand how its hard to get a job. Yet I have one. But I need help to pay all the debt I have occurred from this, because workers compensation will not answer my calls, my emails, etc. They have denied my claim multiple times. And now I don't know what to do. Even $1 could help me out. Thank you.
