With the Marathon in the rea…
With the Marathon in the rear view mirror, I wanted to thank everyone who donated for their generosity. I was able to raise almost $9,000 and as team we raised almost $45,000. That is amazing and I am proud to have helped. 100% of the money raised goes to help fight Childhood Cancer. If they could, those kids would thank you too.

Running the Marathon is something I will never forget and I'm glad to have friends like you to support me.

Stuff About Me:

Friends and family,

On April 20th, I’ll be one of 36,000 runners in this year’s Boston Marathon.

Why is a guy like me, who isn't much of a runner, participating in the 2015 Boston Marathon? Well because it's Boston. It's the original. It's granddaddy of all marathons. And quite honestly Boston and New England have been great to my family and I wanted to do something that gives back to the community. Running the Boston Marathon will allow me to do that.

To run in Boston, you either have to be an elite runner with a qualifying time from another marathon (i.e. you are crazy-fast) or you are lucky enough to get on a fundraising team to raise money for a worthwhile cause. I am one of the not-so-fast-but-very-lucky ones and I am running for Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary's "TEAM EYE AND EAR".

I have specifically chosen to have all my funds raised to go towards the CURING KIDS FUND at Mass Eye and Ear. The Curing Kids Fund supports clinician-scientists who work tirelessly to develop new treatments and find cures for children with diseases and conditions that affect their sight, hearing, speech, breathing and even their ability to smile. That's right, they give kids the ability to smile who couldn't before. Plain awesomeness.

Please contribute to my fundraising goal of $15,000 and I know with your help we can get to the finish line. Any size contribution is appreciated, and, of course, tax deductible.

I’ve been training hard and I’m excited to run.

Thanks and I love you all,
