I am a Family Nurse Practitioner at King’s Daughters Ohio and a native of South Shore, Kentucky. I married my high school sweetheart eighteen years ago and we are the proud parents of two boys, Cameron and Brady. Cameron is a sophomore at Greenup County High school and Brady is in 6th grade at McKell Middle school.
My family is my first and most important responsibility. As a family, we always enjoy traveling. We visit Myrtle Beach yearly and recently enjoyed a trip to Cancun and the Dominican Republic. I attend Christ Community Church and enjoy the messages put forth by Rick Clark, Scott Rawlins and Matt Rawlins as well as the Bible study by Rick.
I may be old - but still enjoy playing video games - I rank up at Call of Duty any time I can. I try to stay active and usually attend the Body and Soul class at IB-fit. I also enjoy Boot camp work out directed by fellow dancer Jeremy Slusher. I am a member of the Crossfit Alpha Pack at
SOMC Life Center. Andrew Kline and Lucas Wright are the ones who oversee the pain that I feel on those days. The environment is great and very supportive.
The efforts of the International Red Cross tend to get publicity - but the local Red Cross impacts the lives and community in a more profound way. I have had patients that have received services from the Red Cross - usually due to disaster or home fires. They are always so grateful for the help they have received. It is these interventions on a local level that many people may not be aware of. These actions may not make the paper, but they make all the difference for that person or family. I have given blood at the Storm Bratchett Blood Drive at Christ Community Church, one of the biggest blood drives in this region.
I used to play guitar and am a child of the 80’s so hair band metal will always have a place in my heart. I also enjoy any dance that gets the hips moving! At one time - close to 15 years ago - the Life Center offered a ballroom dance class that I attended with my wife, but I do not recall much about it. Otherwise my wife says that I have the dance moves that always tend to “go wrong.”
I look forward to dancing with Dianne Coriell and help raise funds for the local Red Cross.
My intentions are not to embarrass my family too much - but the dance is in me and cannot be contained! I may not be Magic Mike - but maybe his older arthritic uncle Crusty Chris.
