Christian and Mills Haiti Mission Trip (Mission of Hope)
Organized by: christian cannon
EVENT DATE Jul 11, 2014
All donations will go toward funds needed to support our mission trip, which will directly help the people of Haiti whom we will visit and serve. We are a small group going to Haiti, to share life and lend a hand to those in need. Also, we have earned some money through working, and painting and selling skateboards, but donations will help immensely for our payments. Thanks!
The Ministry - Mission of Hope
Mission of Hope was founded in 1989 by Bob and Sharon Johnson with the vision to build a mission complex that would effectively reach out and minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the people of Haiti. The Mission of Hope complex now sits on 100 acres of land and employs over 300 Haitians. Approximately 3,000 children are enrolled in the School of Hope, the Village of Hope Orphanage is home to over 60 children, the Hope Clinic sees hundreds of patients every week, and over 1,500 adults, youth, and children come from surrounding villages to attend the Church of Hope. Their nutrition program ensures that over 50,000 children throughout Haiti receive a hot meal at school each day, and well over 1,000 orphaned children receive three meals a day. Mission of Hope is Giving Hope to a Nation!
