BENEFITING: ENGAGE BURKINA INC

EVENT: Giving Tower Holiday Challenge

EVENT DATE: Dec 31, 2015

THE STORY:

Since 2008 hundreds of people and dozens of organizations have helped Engage Burkina provide clean water to around a quarter of a million different people. Along side of local leaders we now have the opportunity to provide education in five different places around the country.

The first of these sites is in the growing town of Hounde. Thanks to some incredible partners both in Burkina and in the US, once this project is completed, this will be one of the most advanced vocational and technical schools in the country.

The money for the first block of classrooms and necessities has been raised, and we will be breaking ground in early 2016. Additional funds from this campaign will go to a computer lab, a library, a cafeteria, dormitories, housing for the Professors, and much more.

Join us in creating an incredible opportunity for the students of Burkina Faso.

Partners include Burkinabe run ACCEDES, and L' Eglise De L'Alliance Chretienne Du Burkina Faso. Other partners include the Amoveo Group, AdTec, and Journeymen International. Together we believe our collective impact can make a transformational difference in this community in Burkina Faso.
