Chatikobo Primary and High Schools are situated right at the heart of the beautiful rural district of Zimbabwe called Gutu. The day schools start from Kindergarten all the way to Advanced Level (Form 6). There is electricity supply at the schools, and I feel it's high time the schools get plugged in onto the Digital Super Highway-the Internet so to speak. There are just a handful of old computers already, one of whih I personally donated. And there is a dire need for more computers. Students make do with difficult conditions of the rural setting, but the introduction of the Internet will revolutionise everything, from pass-rates to life opportunities and standards of living. The schools need to install a VSAT equipment, to be able to access the Internet via satellite. This will benefit the whole surrounding schools, communities and businesses. Zvavahera, Mutanda, Chesvingo and Nharira schools stand to benefit. Zvavahera clinic, 3 km away will also benefit.
