Destruction after hurricane Matthew
October 24, 2016

The roof didn't hold up but still we will rise again. The enduring stpirit of a prowd but less fortunate people.  More than just a place of See More

The Church of God of Redemption is a registered church in Cayes, Haiti. Founded in 1998 by Pastor Pierre L Balais. It has been a staple in the community for the charity work with feeding and clothing the less fortunate kids. Most of the supplies currently being used have been donated by kind people who wanted to make a difference in one child's life. The church is located is an area that is very hard to be reach due to lack of paved roads and mountainous terrain. The southern most part of Haiti was reportedly the most ravaged by the effects of hurricane Matthew. The central location for the church was destroyed in the storms with the roof being completely lost. The lost of a place of worship is tough enough for any congregation to endure particularly in a time like that. The primary focus of the organization has always been to be a refuge and a symbol of hope to the extremely less fortunate kids. There are 3 main points of justification for objectives set forth in this campaign. 1: Building restoration - currently the building can not be occupied currently. 2: food and supplies for the kids that are currently in dire need. Clothes, shoes, toiletry items 3:Continuing the legacy of giving established by Pastor Balais.
