September 23, 2016
Tuesday June 28, 2016 was just like any other day for Cindy Zies she was running errands and doing her laundry when she was struck by a vehicle going approximately 70 miles an hour. Her truck was totaled and ended up several hundred feet from the entrance of her complex. She woke up in ICU with a broken neck (top two vertebrae), small fracture on her skull bleeding on the brain and a broken wrist. She spent three days in ICU at Sunrise Hospital and was there for over 2 weeks. She has had surgery on both her wrists (she fell and broke her wrist when she got home from the hospital), she has to wear a neck collar (it cannot be removed ) for 24 hours a day for a minimum of 3 months.
Cindy has worked 2 jobs for over 4 years just to make ends meet and will be out of work for approximately 4 months, she has no money coming in for her monthly bills and medical bills that are piling up because of the accident. if you find it in your heart to share this fundraiser for Cindy or donate she would be forever grateful! Anyone that knows her knows she is a kind-hearted, generous and giving person! She thanks you from the bottom of her heart and so does her little dog Cassidy!
