Cindy's fight against Breast Cancer
Organized by: Cindy Faber-England
Thank you to those who are helping me reach my goal!
January 14, 2017
My name is Cindy Faber-England, and I was diagnosed with stage 2B Breast Cancer in August 2014. I have been fighting Cancer for the past 2 years with six surgeries including 2 tumor removal attempts, bi-lateral mastectomy w/reconstruction, a complete hysterectomy, and 2 reconstruction surgeries, 5 months of intensive chemotherapy and 29 radiation treatments. Now, less than a year after completing treatment, Cancer has returned and I am now in stage 4 metastatic Breast Cancer to my spine. As I begin a new journey of treatments as yet unknown, with a future that is also unknown, I am trusting God on the road ahead. My family and I are thankful for those who have helped me through the past 2 years, and we are reaching out to anyone that has compassion to help us as we face increasing medical expenses, and an unknown amount of time in my future. Our insurance has changed, our income has changed, I am unable to work, and the bills are increasing. Please help me as I continue my fight against this horrible disease. I have a scheduled appointment on August 8th, 2016 for an integrative approach for treatment at the Block Center in Illinois. Travel expenses are out of pocket and quite expensive from Reno, NV. While my insurance pays for some of the standard treatment, (most of which I have already had), and because Block Center uses an integrative approach using dietary and other "out of the box" treatement, this portion is out of pocket for me. I created this campaign to reach out for help with these costs. In stage 4 metastatic cancer, there is little left most "in the box" doctors offer for treatment. I want to live to watch my daughter marry and I want to meet my future grandchildren. Please help me. Share this with all your friends, family, and anyone who is able and willing to help me pay for this hopeful treatment. I am never going to give up. Thank you!
