Please make a contribution for your favorite "Shoe Guy." Men from across the Triangle have volunteered for the event and will put their award-winning smiles and personalities to work as they each compete for the title, "King of Sole". The Shoe Guy raising the most funds for Communities In Schools of North Carolina will be "crowned" at our Wine Women & Shoes event on October 9, 2014.
Support Communities In Schools of North Carolina as we work to change the picture of education in our state by removing barriers to academic success while keeping kids in school and empowering them to achieve in life.
Last year, 11,049 students in North Carolina dropped out of school. But 1,172 twelfth graders enrolled in Communities In Schools (CIS) programs graduated and are now on a path to reach their full potential. When we reach our goal of raising $120,000 through the Wine, Women and Shoes event, CIS could change the picture for nearly 900 students, resulting in a further reduction of the dropout rate. Together we can make a life-changing difference for kids across North Carolina!
