Sitka -The Little City by the Sea
Organized by: Lisa Roy
A gross amount of rain has caused a devastating landslide in Sitka, Alaska. This landslide has taken homes and lives of loved ones - Two of which I attended high school with and the third I did not know, but I know he was a loved one of many. My condolences go out to the families as well as the community at this time.
During this time, emergency personnel have embarked on the line of duty, in which they made a commitment to as soon as they chose to be in the emergency field - whether they are a firefighter, a medic/EMT, or part of search and rescue - they have put their lives on the line day and night to protect you, your loved ones, and your community. It is important that the ones who protect are protected and cared for as well.
Donations go towards disaster relief and emergency services including all emergency personnel involved.
