EVENT DATE: Nov 06, 2016
Hello family, friends and Urban Squash Alumni!!!
On November 06, 2016 I will be running the TCS New York City Marathon as a charity runner on behalf of CitySquash and in need of your help to reach my $3000 goal for this amazing non profit organization. If you have not yet notice my profile picture, I am a Squashbusters Alumni from team 2 many years ago in Boston. Like CitySquash, Squashbusters program has made a critical impact on my life and has my established the foundation of who I am. Even during my years of serving in the US Army, college, a Squashbusters coach and a Cambridge Police Offcer, I reflect on how urban squash has impacted my life in ways that still make me smile when I walk on a squash court. With that being said, I wanted to extend my appreciation to not just one great Urban Squash organization but to all. CitySquash will be the first, I hope, that many Urban Squash Alumni's can reach out and support their local or near by Urban Squash Program.
Running the NYC Marathon will be a great oppertunity and dream of mine. Currently, I have two Boston Marathons under my belt and currently am training for a half IRONMAN in New Hampshire this August. I'm already in training mode and with your support, the dream of a Squashbuster Alumni running on behalf of Citysquash would be just epic. Regardless of what Urban Squash program I came from, the passion and mission statements of City Squash and Squashbusters have postively impacted many young student lives...including myself. So let's keep it going!
Let's make this happen and support me running the New York City Marathon with UrbanSquash on my mind!
