My cousins Tom and Eleanor are each fighting brain cancers today. I'm riding for them with hope.
My friends Mike and Maria are cancer survivors. I'm riding for them with celebration.
My friends Susan and Darrell, and my grandfather, Jack, each lost the battle with cancer. I'm riding for them with memories.
My butt hasn't been on a bike in 22 years, so I'm pedalling the 22 mile course.
Tour de Ted 2014 is a multi-city bicycle tour across Texas organized by Edward Jones volunteers in order to raise money for cancer research and to honor our founder, Ted Jones, who passed away from cancer. Ted met his wife on a bicycle trip. Their love of the natural world inspired them to work with landowners and the Missouri Conservation Department to convert the old MKT railroad line into a bicycling trail all the way from Sedalia to the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers.
