Remember we had a YMCA growing up? Remember Friday night dances and basketball at NightSpot?! Even if you never used that photo ID you got in health class, it was great to know it was in your wallet and you had the option of a place to go on a Friday night.
Give today's kids someplace fun to remember!:)
If everybody in our class donates just $10 we will raise lots of money for a positive place for kids.
Go find your NightSpot card and remember how excited you were to get it and to know you had the option of going in if you wanted to. Maybe you never did, but the option was there. I loved my NightSpot ID and tried to find it, but all that turned up was an ancient Lechmere Card, Grand Prix Drivers License, AT&T Calling Card (pre cell phones:), and a Smoke-free pledge card (pretty sure I may have been the only one with one of those--haha--hey they say smoking stunts your growth and I couldn't take any chances:)
There are over 300 young people counting on the Boys & Girls Club in Wakefield as an option for them and so that makes over 300 reasons why you should care and want to help support the service it provides in a community that you may not live in anymore, but that you will always belong to.
If you would like to donate offline, send a check to: "Boys & Girls Club of Wakefield", 15 Dale Ct, Stoneham, MA 02180 and make sure you write "Class of 1995 Fund" on the notes line.
I would like to have my Class of 1995 recognized on the Honor Wall within the building. My family and I are willing to donate whatever funds are needed to make sure the $1500 goal is reached if we are not able to reach the goal as a group.
Let’s make sure that future Wakefield classes are as great as ours!
