Clean Walk Zimbabwe
Organized by: Fernanda Bertoldi
Saint Joseph's House for Boys was established in 1954 in Harare, Zimbabwe. Even with the country's failling economy this house for boys continues to fight for these young men's rights to shelter, food, clothes, education, and love. All of this with one goal in mind, to give young men the opportunity for growth and to build strong characters. Zimbabwe is today the country with the highest number of orphans in the world, 1.8 million orphans in a population of less than 16 million people. After learning of these sad realities of Zimbabwe, meeting the 44 young men ages 8-18, and seeing the infinite opportunities these young men can make for them selves if shown the way; two Americans saw the opportunity to make a change into these young men's lives. This fundraising is to ensure that 44 young man are guaranteed to go to have shoes that fit them, instead of the average unlatching shoes that are not their size. This is just the beginning for a bright future in these young men's lives. However, it can't be done without you. Please join us now because together we are stronger. Together we can do a bigger and better impact.
