Our ability to access clean water upon a simple twist of a knob or push of a button has compromised our understanding of the privilege of using clean water from day to day. In Woadze Tsatoe of Ghana, villagers have no choice but to drink dirty water from the nearby Lake Volta. The result is the contraction of often debilitating water-borne diseases that compromise the ability of men, women, and children to provide for their families and live fulfilling lives.
In order to alleviate this issue, SIV: Ghana aims to create a business around a sustainable underground water pump located within the village that will generate revenue for the improvement of the village and the maintenance of the system – ensuring that our contributions are well worth the efforts placed into it. We are asking for your personal investment in our venture as we embark on this special journey. Your investment will help provide SIV:Ghana’s village with clean water, a strengthened economy and a better quality of life for its villagers.
