Everyone enjoys clean clothes.
A FedEx employee trying to crowdfund a laundromat as an additional source of income and provide for my community. In return 10% of income will be donated to charity:water to provide clean water to families and communities in need.
This is a dream for me to own a small turn-key business within a physical brick and mortar building. I think a laundromat with new equipment would be a good fit in my community. I think newer technology and less water consumption would be beneficial.
I'm seeking a down payment toward the startup fees for a new laundromat, which may be significant. Depending on its location, choices for equipment and financing. Building costs include the value of the property and the price of remodeling: if the building was not originally a laundromat, I may need to install new water pipes, electrical outlets and sewer access to accommodate the new washing functions.
Minimum investment is $50,000 but I expect it will be higher. The higher I invest the lower the financing will be. I'd be open to finding an Angel Investor, to help.
Mooresville, Indiana is a town located in the heartland of America that combines a small town atmosphere with the benefits of a big city. It offers a beautiful Midwestern setting for high quality family life. Just 10 miles southwest of our state capital, Indianapolis, Mooresville is located next to a major distribution center and international air hub. Because of all it has to offer, Mooresville is the “Crossroads of Progress” and is becoming the new home of many businesses and families.
My day job is working full time second shift for FedEx. I drive a FedEx Sprinter on the west side of Indianapolis. I have been with FedEx since 2/1999.
