Dear friends and family -
On January 26th, I will be setting off to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, in support of the Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF), a non-profit fthat strives to make educational equity a reality by providing partial scholarships to low-income families so they can access the schools they believe are the best fit for their children, regardless of their ability to pay or where they live. The numbers show that CSF is highly effective - 94% of CSF Scholars graduated from high school on time, and over 90% have gone on to enroll in college. CSF scholarships literally change lives by creating opportunities that otherwise wouldn’t exist.
This year, 8,300 CSF Scholars are attending 211 schools in New York City. Even so, the demand from families far outpaces funding, and many children are turned away each year. With this in mind, my climbing partner and I have set a goal to raise $5,895, which is a dollar for every meter of Mt. Kilimanjaro that we will climb and enough to put 3 incredible children on the path to success with a CSF scholarship.
Please join me in supporting CSF by clicking the Donate Button on the right side of this page. 100 percent of every dollar you donate goes directly to funding CSF scholarships and gets us closer to giving all children the education they deserve.
Thank you so much for your support!
