After sustaining a traumatic brain injury, I discovered the hopelessness, helplessness, and the emotional, psychological, and spiritual struggles that come with it. I have met amazing veterans who overcame the worst psychological and physical pain through my treatment as a military member with a TBI. My best friend helped me through my toughest time, and decided she would break the California 14ers women's speed record to help veterans who have undergone trauma in the service of our country. Their sacrifices for our freedom warrant love, respect, and a life of abundance instead of isolation, hopelessness, and the repercussions that come from combat and trauma. Help us raise funds to provide veterans with opportunities to live a life of freedom, purpose, empowerment, and hope.
