Tyler Summits Mt. Denali for those with Duchenne
July 05, 2016
Climb to Cure Duchenne is a campaign encouraging climbers of all ages to help cure Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a devastating and lethal muscle disease in children, impacting more than 300,000 boys worldwide. Most children with Duchenne will lose their ability to walk by age 12 and will not survive beyond their mid-20s.
Currently there is no cure for Duchenne, but we're on the verge of FDA approval for a drug that can cure the disease.
Tyler Armstrong is challenging you! Tyler, the 12-year-old mountaineering phenomenon, plans to climb the Seven Summits as part of Climb to CureDuchenne to help save the lives of those with Duchenne. Tyler is challenging you to Pick Your Peak, conquer it, and raise money to help make the cure for Duchenne a reality.
Our goal is to raise more than $1 million to cure Duchenne!
Please help us reach the goal by making a tax-deductible contribution to Tyler's team, or starting your own team. CureDuchenne is a nonprofit that raises awareness and funds research to find a cure for Duchenne.
The top three fundraisers/teams will win incredible prizes from our sponsors. Stay tuned for the prize list. Set up your Crowdrise page today, and we will send you a full guide to be successful.
No peak or donation is too small for a cause so big.
