BENEFITING: Clinton Global Initiative
As BlueChip Energy is one of the largest vertically integrated solar companies in the US, we are in a unique position to really do some good for energy independance from fossil fuels using solar. As the cost of solar has dropped by over 60% in the past 2 years, we can really begin to affect macro level change within the developing world, supply chain greening efforts, and large solar farm development. We've recently offered an opportunity to work with the Clinton Global Initiative which is an organization founded by former president Bill Clinton. The organization is comprised of global leaders, heads of state and some of the largest companies in the world, partnering together for major environmental causes.
The CBI has a specific Energy & Ecosystems track that we could be of great service to. One initiative is to develop solar feasibility through renewable projects and solar farms. We've developed an "Island Kit" specifically designed for off-grid electricity generation via solar power. We've also become a price leader in development in large scale solar projects as a result of our companies fully vertically integrated structure. Aside from this we've also developed solar systems for low income developers and nonprofits looking to integrate solar to power their locations that could afford it in the past.
By helping to raise money for the membership fee we can work closer with world leaders to promote and integrate renewable energy into parts of the world that cannot afford the cost of gas. We can bring the world one step closer to less dependency on fossil fuels. We can change the future.
