ABOUT BEST BUDDIES Best Buddies® is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In many cases, as a result of their involvement with Best Buddies, people with IDD secure rewarding jobs, live on their own, become inspirational leaders, and make lifelong friendships.

BEST BUDDIES NEW YORK is the local affiliate of the international organization and currently has 65 Middle School, High School, and College chapters in New York City, Long Island and the Capital Region. Donations to Team Best Buddies NYC will support our existing programs and increase our capacity to respond to our growing waitlist for School Friendship programs (35 schools) and the tremendous interest in launching a Jobs program. 

TEAM BEST BUDDIES NYC This is our fourth year as an official Community Charity Partner with the New York Road Runners for the TCS New York City Marathon! Last year Team Best Buddies raised over $47,000 and this year our goal is to raise over $50,000. By running with Team Best Buddies you will be making strides for social inclusion!
