September is Gynecological Awareness month. Approximately 100 women will be diagnosed in the U.S. with Small or Large Cell Neuroendocrine Cervical Cancer this year, so we are challenging 100 people to raise $100 to benefit the Small and Large Cell Neuroendocrine Cervical Cancer Research fund set up for our cause at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center , during the month of September. That means if you ask 10 of your friends to donate $10, the challenge has been met. Not so difficult…right? If we pull this off, it means we will raise at least $10,000 for our fund. However, we have surpassed this goal every year by more than double. We hope to do the same this year. Every donation counts and nothing is too small!
We don’t have the benefit of government funds or a celebrity to back our cause. Raising funds is a huge effort. But these funds have already been put to great use and are now actually saving lives. Positive outcomes where there was once very few, are starting to materialize through molecular testing and targeted treatment.
You can go to our website and get more information on SCCC/LCCC, MD Anderson and our fund www.necervix.com
You can donate right here on our Crowdrise site directly to the “100 for 100” campaign. The donation is tax deductable and donating to Crowdrise is your receipt.
You may also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and receive instructions on how to donate by check or money order.
Please consider joining our cause and be 1 of the 100 for 100 during the month of September. Even though this cancer is so rare, you never know when any cancer will strike. Please help us make a difference.
