BENEFITING: Clothes the Deal
Funding will help Clothes The Deal provide business attire and workshops to clients referred from Archdiocese Youth Employment Services, Children's Hospital Los Angeles Project (NATEEN), Grandview Foundation, Homeboys Industries, Men's Alliance (Hawthorne High School), Salvation Army Shelters (Bell & Whittier), Single Room Occupancy, United Friends of the Children, United States Veterans Initiative, Volunteers of America, , Youth Policy Institute, and YO Watts (YouthSource Center). Collaborating organizations are in need of Clothes The Deal's services, but do not have funding for service expenses. Clients served will receive business attire and professional image workshops. All clients served are transitioning from a major traumatic event. The majority of clients are recovering from employment barriers including domestic violence, post traumatic stress, substance abuse, and mental health disorders.
