BENEFITING: Boy Scouts of America Council
Chief Logan Reservation is a summer camp operated through the Simon Kenton Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
If you have been around camp recently, you have probably seen Ranger Kerry's new tractor. The running joke around camp is how Kerry will never let Old Man Roy drive his tractor regardless of the project he is working on around camp. However, Kerry has agreed to let Roy drive his new tractor if we can raise $3000 by the end of summer camp on 7/26/2013 to support projects around camp. But, if we fall short of $3000 get gets to drive the tractor around camp with Roy pouting on the back.
This is a 50/50 challenge. All money raised will go to support the Chief Logan Reservation Properties Committee. However, 50% of the money raised will be earmarked to support the newly created Worker Bees Patrol (a service group created by Drew and Roy) as they plan and execute multiple service projects around camp. The other 50% will go into the Properties Committee general account for miscellaneous use with physical improvements and maintenance of camp.
Let's get Old Man Roy on the tractor! Please consider donating to this friendly challenge and good cause. We are encouraging donations of $25 or more. If there is a specific project around camp you would like to support, please let us know.
The brick sale fundraiser will apply to this challenge. If you donate $150 or more you can have a small brick inscribed and placed in the Bowman Family Patio in front of the dining hall. A large brick can be purchased for $250 or more.
