BENEFITING: YELLOW RIBBON FUND INC
EVENT DATE: Sep 13, 2014
SSgt (Ret.) Brendan Ferreira is a former member of the US Army Rakkasans. While in service to his country and stationed in Afghanistan, Brendan was the victim of a suicide bombing. 8 Pounds of explosives were detonated on a suicide vest only a few feet behind him. Brendan was left partially deaf and blind, his legs were badly injured and he suffered an amputation of his left arm at the elbow joint.
All of this and we are still betting his snatch is better than yours!
Join us at the Civilian Military Combine in Philadelphia. Come visit the Yellow Ribbon Fund tent and for a $10 donation, get the chance to see if your one-arm snatch is as good as Brendan's. All of the proceeds go to support the Yellow Ribbon Fund and their TUF Campaign, of which Brendan is a Veteran Athlete Ambassador for. And when you donate to the YRF, you can trust that your money is going directly to wounded and recovering veterans; specifically, 83 cents of every dollar!
