This Sunday I'll be setting out to run 26.2 miles in the 2016 Chicago Marathon! I'm super excited and as usual a little bit nervous. Towards the end of these races the body often times feels like it wants to shut down. It's so tempting to stop...to just give up. ---No way!!!--- Over the past few years with your help we have raised over $5,000 in 2014 for Alport Syndrome and in 2015 with the Bright Pink campaign for breast cancer awareness. Once again this year I've chosen Bright Pink. By supporting this fundraiser we are showing that we won't give up when the going gets tough. We won't stop. We'll go all the way to the finish line! Let's make a difference in the fight against cancer and improve women's health.
Regardless of whether you are able to make a donation, please send me the name of a loved one, yourself or any other person you would like to (honor or remember) and I will write all of the names on my shirt and wear it on race day!
