It is that time of year again to lace up our sneakers, have some fun, and do our part to fight cancer this NCAA basketball season! For the fifth year in a row, Governor Steve Bullock has issued a challenge to join him and his team in helping save lives from cancer! Coaches Vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers™ is a nationwide event in which coaches wear sneakers with their game attire to unite for a common cause - saving lives from cancer! But, Coaches vs. Cancer Suits And Sneakers™ isn't just for coaches. Here in Montana, Governor Bullock serves as our honorary head coach and urges state employees, and all Montanans, to join our team by participating in the Montana Governor’s Hoops Challenge – our unique Montana version of Suits And Sneakers. Governor Bullock has invited state employees to wear sneakers or team apparel to work on Thursdays and Fridays during the NCAA playoffs while helping to save lives from cancer and promote a healthy and active lifestyle. Don't sit this one out! Simply click "Donate Now" and make your tax deductible donation recommended at $5 or more. Then, lace up your sneakers each Thursday and Friday from March 15 - April 2 to help people with cancer today and to find cures to end the disease tomorrow. Thank you for your support! Your dollars make a difference by helping us provide important programs to cancer survivors, such as rides to treatment, lodging, education and information about early detection and healthy lifestyles, funding lifesaving research and advocacy for laws that protect people from cancer.
