BENEFITING: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
EVENT DATE: Jan 09, 2014
As many of you are now familiar, it has become a yearly event for me to participate in various events to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary (nonprofit) health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.
I became involved by attending Relay for Life events in the Miami and Doral area that help raise awareness in the community, and since then my involvement has grown and spread to many other causes.
I am now attempting, lets see if this can be accomplished, to run 13.1 miles in both January and September 2014 at LLS sponsored events in the Coast to Coast Challenge taking place in Florida and California.
I am asking for donations to be made so that I can attend both events, and anyone interested in participating is more than welcome to join my team. All donations go directly to LLS foundation.
If you would like to donate, please e-mail or call me with the amount you will be pledging.
If you would like to donate just to LLS you can go to http://www.lls.org/#/waystohelp/donate/donateonline/ and make the donation (I won't be offended)
If you want to become more involved there are over 4000 Relays across the U.S. where you can make a difference and hundreds of events where you can volunteer or participate.
Thank you for supporting the fight against cancer!
