We support foster and adoptive parents with education, resources and tools to parent foster children, so parents are equipped for success with the children in care. We are a 501©3 nonprofit organization that is committed to supporting foster/adoptive parents in achieving safety, permanence, and well being for foster/adoptive children.
Additionally, we are a very diverse group of around 140+ homes, who volunteer our time, finances, homes and hearts to caring for the over 1,000 children placed in foster care each year in Cobb County. Each foster parent is required by the State of Georgia to complete 15 hours of training each year. Our organization provides an opportunity each month for two hours of training and foster/adoptive family fellowship at our Association Meetings. We also hold events and outings for foster and adoptive families as our resources allow.
