BENEFITING: CODY ST JOHN FOUNDATION INC
Let's raise some coin for the Cody St. John Foundation one vertical foot at a time.
Cody was an organ donor and gave his heart, liver, kidney and pancreas to individuals in need. The Cody St. John Foundation works to raise awareness around the importance of organ and tissue donation and increase registration of donors for the benefit of waiting recipients and their families. The foundation provides scholarships to ski patrollers nationwide for medical and avalanche education.
Cody said, "Let us fortunate ones live the good life."It is in Cody's honor that we celebrate life in the mountains we love. Each year, the foundation holds Codys Challenge, a randonee ski race at Steamboat to celebrate his heart of gold and raise money for the cause: http://whatwouldcodydo.net/about-the-foundation/heart-of-gold/
Donating cash to a Fundraiser is amazing and much appreciated but imagine the impact you can have if you go a step further and ask everyone you know to donate too. And then a couple of them join the Team and spread the word to all their friends. We've seen this work successfully over and over and it can work for the Cody St. John Foundation, too.
Everyone on the Team and gets their own Fundraising Page with the click of a button so we make it quick and easy to join the Team and even easier to tell your friends about it.
Cody St. John was humanity's best friend. He passed away tragically in car accident in 2007. Cody won the prestigious Colorado State Ski Patroller of the Year Award - the first snowboarder ever to do so.
