THE STORY:

http://www.asoldiersjourneyhome.org/home.html We are raising money to build a specially adapted home for Wounded Warrior Marine LC Cody Evans. Cody was injured in Afghanistan on December 15, 2011 by an IED explosion. He served in Afghanistan from July 2011 until his injury on Dec. 15. He was a reservist with the 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, Delta Co, of Knoxville, TN. Cody is now medically retired.Cody is a double amputee, right leg above the knee and left leg hip disarticulation. He spent 11 months at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Cody got to move home on November 16, 2012. He now attends college at Lincoln Memorial University. Cody and his mother Regina live in childhood home. But, he dreams of living a home adapted to his needs. Non-profit A Soldier’s Journey Home is going to build Cody a home in the Spring of 2016. Please view Representative Chuck Fleischmann (R) Tennessee as he honors on LCpl Cody Evans and his mother Regina with words from the House floor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZ2P7Tpm8bQ
