Every dollar helps! Connecting Conservation is a science-based 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of conservation activities. We help partners collaboratively plan, manage, and monitor the conservation landscape of the future. One of the ways we do this is by leading the development of the Griffin Groups collaboration platform, which provides a free suite of communication and project management tools. Over the past 3 years, nearly 1600 members from over 300 institutions used Griffin Groups to consolidate, discover, and develop scientific information for creative solutions to some of the world's most challenging conservation problems. However, the dramatic rise in the use of mobile devices requires us to adapt our website. We need your help to fund the redesign of Griffin Groups’ interface so that it incorporates advances in responsive theming for different sized devices. This redesign will require substantial new coding to update core software as well as custom plugins affected by core software changes. All of the funds we raise through this campaign will be used for the design, planning, hosting, coding, and testing of both code and user experience. We will also seek matching funding from other sources for additional enhancements and training resources.
