Baha'is are denied college education in Iran so they have created an underground university or a sort called Baha'i Institute for Higher Education. Irfan Colloquium provides scholarship for some BIHE students, graduates, or faculty for study abroad at accredited universities. Irfan Colloquium is affiliated to the US Baha’i National Center and its Management Board is appointed by the National Spiritual Assembly of USA. They have an immediate need to raise scholarship fund for an Iranian Baha'i youth who is pursuing a four year BA degree. He is exceptionally talented and has a vast and deep knowledge of the Baha’i Writings. However he has no source of income and has to work full time to cover his cost of living and university fees. He needs around $1500 per month which is around $18000 per year and $72000 for four years. The scholarship grant will be paid directly to him by the Baha’i National Treasury on monthly installments. Irfan Colloquium will approve continuation of his scholarship each term, upon evaluation of his transcript. If you are a Baha'i, donations should be made to the National Baha'i Fund and earmarked Irfan Colloquium College fund.
