Excited to hear that the Cowell Family Cancer Center will focus on expanded research and clinical trials, and cancer genetics clinics!

I am super stoked to be partaking in this charity event, it's been a long time since I've rocked a mohawk, and what better reason to do so again than for charity? I am going to be participating in honor of my best childhood friend/soul sibling, Colton Sell, who was diagnosed with leukemia as a toddler, beat it, and was then rediagnosed with and battled cancer off and on for 20 years before passing away in December of 2014. I will also be doing this in honor of the family members I have lost to cancer, 3 out of 4 of my grandparents and my uncles Jim and Jeff. To be entirely honest I've never had a family member who was diagnosed with cancer, beat cancer completely and continue to live or die from something else. We Lambert's don't have the best genetics and don't typically make it to our 70's.
I would love to see how much Northern Michigan and friends of Colton can raise for such a worthy cause. :)
