Pope Francis said, "courageous, humble and strong prayer can accomplish miracles." Communities of Prayer was founded on the simple idea that prayer is the foundation on which every disciple is encouraged to build his or her house. We accomplish this goal of developing disciples through prayer by offering parish retreats, resources and our popular Encounter program.
A convert to Catholicism, Tom Grossman founded Communities of Prayer and in 2012 we became an official Non-Parish Based Ministry in the Diocese of Dallas. Father Jashua Whitfield currently serves as our spiritual director and we provide a strong line-up of retreat & Encounter speakers.
Today, Tom and his team at Communities of Prayer need your assistance. Although we have a strong base of support from our local parishes many that want and need access to Communities of Prayer programming simply cannot afford to bring our organization to their parish, youth or school group.
What areas will my financial support benefit?
- Provide our retreats and resources to parishes, youth groups and schools who otherwise could not afford COP programming.
- Support our part-time Media and Administrative Missionaries with COP
- Publish our Encounter the Gospel Cycle B, Vol. 1 & 2.
- Resource Campaign - provide parishes and ministries with samples of our talks and written materials.
Your monthly financial assistance or one time gift during this campaign would help us underwrite our modest budget and bring our message to many more parish communities. Together we will prepare disciples to accomplish the New Evangelization.
Communities of Prayer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
Your support is tax-dseductible. A receipt of your gift will be provided.
