Serving the community since the mid-1970's, the agency offers a Choice Food Pantry and Emergency Resources to at-risk residents of three school districts in York County PA [Dallastown, Eastern York, Red Lion]. Nearly 200 client households receive groceries and other basic necessities each month when they arrive for their appointment, plus extra seasonal items throughout the year.

During the school months, at least 100 elementary students, who are at-risk for food insecurity, are able to receive a bag of nutritional items to take home for the weekend. Blankets and other cold weather items are make available during the fall and winter months as donations are available. Nutrition classes and money management counseling are offered each year.
Volunteers serve each day in the pantry to escort and help the clients with their choices and other services which are offered. The agency is governed by its board of directors, each of whom volunteer their leadership and bring a varity of expertise from their professional or business backgrounds. The administration of the agency is provided on a daily basis by part-time staff members. The funding and in-kind support for the agency's services and programs are reliant on the generous donations of the community - families, individuals, businesses, organizations, churches, clubs or groups.
