Connecting People. Doing Good.

We've done the legwork and reached our set-up goal a week early! Now, we need YOUR HELP to reach our fundraising goal of $2,500 by July 15, 2015.

The mission of Community Alliance Network (aka CALNET) is to provide on-going personal & professional development for young adults transitioning out of foster care and enrichment experiences for Colorado's under-served youth through innovative programs and involvement with local professionals dedicated to positively impacting the community.

To serve the needs of our audiences:

We offer the business community CALNET Professionals™ which includes Leads&Latté Chapter Membership and participation in “Members Making a Difference” video series that airs on public access television.

CALNET Connects™ which is a “Work-Ready” program that connects local Professionals as Mentors with Foster Alumni (ages 16-26) as Interns with support to enter the workforce or apply for higher education.

STEAMM Powered Kids™ which combines the fundamentals of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Music & Math in creative and engaging activities for under-served youth (ages 5-18) preparing them for a successful academic experience.

PHASE 1 - NPO Set-up Completed!

  • 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Application Approved!
  • Approved for First Official Colorado MOUSE Squad Affiliation!
  • First STEAMM Powered Kids™ Camp ready to be Scheduled!
  • CALNET Professional Leads&Latté™ Membership - Enhanced!
  • CALNET Connects™ Mentor/Intern “Work-Ready” Program in Development!
  • Co-Working Office Space (with other NPOs Sharing Expenses) Reserved!
  • Access to 2 Television Studios & Computer Learning Lab for Member projects!
  • “Members Making a Difference” video series to air on Public Access TV!


Money raised will be applied to the following Start-up expenses:

  1. Purchase Art Supplies & Materials for STEAMM program
  2. Membership for use of Professional Video Production & Editing Equipment
  3. Event Space & Administrative Expenses (licensing and certifications)
