Community Water Solutions (CWS) is a non-profit organization that partners with rural communities in developing countries to establish sustainable water treatment businesses. These businesses are owned and operated by the communities that they serve, and use simple, affordable technologies to enable the treatment and distribution of clean, safe water. CWS is a social enterprise that combines environmental sustainability, community development, and women's empowerment, all while providing thousands of people with the basic, human need of water.
I will be traveling with a team to Ghana this summer to implement a sustainable water treatment project in Tamale, which is in the northeast region of the country. All proceeds will support the implementation of community-owned water treatment systems, providing a permanent source of clean water for 700-1000 local residents, reducing childhood mortality and improving the health of all in the communities. All donations are tax-deductible!
If you believe that access to clean, safe, drinkable water is a basic human right, please donate!
