I've been given an incredible opportunity to take part in a fellowship that provides clean water for rural villages in Ghana. As a fellow, my personal goal is to raise $3000 to help provide the necessary capital for equipment needed to create the water treatment facility, support our translators throughout the education and implementation process, and provide for my room and board needs for the duration of the Fellowship.Community Water Solutions is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and all donations are tax deductible.
Community Water Solutions (CWS) is a not-for-profit organization that aims to bring sustainable water treatment to rural communities in Ghana, Africa. CWS has developed a unique model for drinking water treatment by establishing for-profit water businesses that are owned and operated by the communities they serve and use low-cost local technologies. The maintenance and operation of these water treatment businesses is funded by revenue from the sale of drinking water, while the capital necessary to establish them is generated through CWS fundraising activities. This distinctive combination empowers people in rural areas to take control of their own water quality. As a result CWS is uniquely positioned to provide a sustainable source of safe drinking water in rural areas.
I hope you can help in anyway possible!
