BENEFITING: SKULLY SERVES
Skully Serves is dedicated to promoting volunteerism and encouraging teenagers to become and stay actively involved in their community. Through engaging community outreaches, we connect teenagers (ages 13-19) with their favorite bands and musicians through volunteering, service learning, and working together. Prominent bands/musicians “host” our Skully Serves Outreach Pop-Ups.
This Summer 2016, Skully Serves will be a part of the longest running and largest traveling music festival in the world, Vans Warped Tour. We have 41 Outreach Pop-Ups scheduled for each tour date (June 24-August 13, 2016) based in major cities across the United States. This summer, our organization will be focusing on helping the homeless. At each Skully Outreach Pop-Up, we will be assembling homeless care packages for that city’s local homeless shelter.
Each Care Package will include critical items needed by the shelters: flip flops, razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, deodorant, pair of socks, fruit snack, etc.
Our goal is to assemble at least 50 Homeless Care Packages per tour date which totals to: 2,050 Care Packages in 2 1/2 months. Each Care Package= $15
In addition to the Homeless Care Packages, at each tour date, we will be providing 2 homeless youth tickets to Vans Warped Tour for an experience of a life time (meet and greet with a prominent band and all-access backstage).
With raised funds, we will be able to reach teens across the nation and, more importantly, serve others together while documenting our volunteer efforts and its rewarding effects. The benefits of volunteering are countless and life-changing. By donating to our cause, you will not only be supporting our mission, but also helping us to demonstrate social responsibility, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
WE THANK EVERYONE IN ADVANCE FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP. APPRECIATED MORE THAN YOU COULD KNOW <3
